Weight and Center of Gravity Limits

The weight limits and the C.G. range that every loading must fall inside. The aft limit is one number at every weight; the forward limit moves aft as the airplane gets heavier.

    Weight limits

In this handbook the maximum takeoff, landing and zero fuel weights are all 4407 lb (1999 kg). Each of the two baggage compartments, forward and aft, takes 100 lb (45 kg).

    Center of gravity limits

The limits are in inches aft of the datum, with straight-line variation between the points given.

    C.G. limits by weight

    • 3400 lb: forward 82.0 in, rearward 94.6 in

    • 4250 lb: forward 86.7 in, rearward 94.6 in

    • 4407 lb: forward 88.0 in, rearward 94.6 in

C.G. envelope plotted as weight against inches aft of datum: forward limit 82.0 in at 3400 lb, 86.7 in at 4250 lb and 88.0 in at 4407 lb, rearward limit 94.6 in

    The datum

The datum is 78.4 inches ahead of the wing leading edge, at the inboard edge of the fuel tank.
